A new Outer Loop (KY 1065) right in / right out access in southwest Louisville-Jefferson County was designed to serve The Shoppes at Lone Oak and provide better traffic circulation and visibility for new retail outlots.
A survey was conducted for the 2.3 acre site outlots and Outer Loop right-of-way utilizing Topcon Hiper V dual frequency receivers and a Topcon PS-103 robotic total station. Bearings are based on a static GPS observation and resulting Opus Solution referenced to the Kentucky State Plan Coordinates (North) (NAD 1983). The Vertical Datum was NAVD 1988 as derived by static GPS observation. The Survey met the minimum standards as defined by 201 KAR 18:150 for an urban class survey.
Recent September 2018 site pictures are below with geogrid for a heavy asphalt entrance / exit to Outer Loop and non-woven geotextile covering an underground detention basin. Survey crew aids Louisville Paving with construction staking as needed to help beyond the design stage.
