Job Description

Vision Engineering, LLC is seeking a focused and motivated candidate to fill the position of Land Surveying Senior Technician for our Surveys Division, Headquartered inLexington, KY. Ideal candidates will have an interest in building a career involving all aspects of the Land Surveying discipline.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include

• Field surveys involving a one- or two-man survey crew for boundary, topographic, construction layout and ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys that require a high level of detail toward surface features, underground utility assets, accuracy and error reduction.
• Coordinate file management
• Field survey data reduction and drawing production utilizing Carlson Civil Suite in an AutoCAD environment
• Preparation of Legal Descriptions
• Interacting with contractors, clients, and Vision personnel to further project goals and participate in work progress meetings.

Requirements

• Good driving record, no DUI
  
• Ability to walk
• L.S.I.T. or P.L.S. preferred, but not required
• Strong CADD skills utilizing Carlson field and office software
• Professional demeanor
• Evolved technical writing skills
• Min. 3 - 5 yrs. experience in similar field
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
